Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
