News has broken that original actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their iconic roles in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.

A Major Return to Panem

Lawrence and Hutcherson are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the characters they made famous. Industry whispers indicate their appearance will probably be featured in a brief glimpse ahead, as the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.
